不忘（中英） | 愿有缘者由此踏上解脱之路！
今天是藏历神变月初三。1933 年的今天，一位真正的菩萨乘着悲愿、倒驾慈航来到人间，他就是浊世众生的依怙、我们的无等恩师法王如意宝。
In 1933, out of his compassionate aspirations, a noble being came to this human world and remained until 2004. This noble being is the protector of sentient beings in the time of degeneration and our unsurpassable loving guru, Kyabjé Wish-Fulfilling Jewel (Jigme Puntsok Rinpoché).
今年“法王圆寂纪念法会”第十三届筹备组，把上师生前传法录音整理成文而造的纪念册，有着非同一般的含义和缘起。全文分为十三章，表示法王圆寂十三周年；共有七十一节，代表法王住世七十一岁。
In 2017, in memory of his passing away thirteen years earlier, the preparation committee of the Thirteenth Parinirvana Dharma Gathering of Kyabjé Wish-Fulfilling Jewel compiled a memorial book based on the transcriptions of some old audio recordings of our guru’s teachings. The book falls into thirteen chapters, denoting the thirteenth anniversary of Kyabjé’s parinirvana, and has seventy-one sections, indicating the number of years of his living in this world. This slender book has extraordinary connotation and dependent origination.
参加这次法会的汉族信士，都得到了纪念册的藏文本，但苦于不懂其义，我刚巧由于某种特殊原因，本已定好的出国巡讲行程全部取消，所以就趁这段时间把它译成了汉文。希望借此能让许多没见过法王的人，与他老人家结上法缘。
At the time, however, many Chinese followers felt sad for not being able to understand the contents because of the language barrier. As it turned out, due to special reasons my overseas lecture tour was cancelled and I was able to use this time to translate the book into Chinese. By doing so, I hoped more people, not having seen Kyabjé in person, would be able to connect with him through the Dharma.
Right afterward, I considered Kyabjé’s aspiration when visiting Mount Wutai in 1987 that it would be best to guide all sentient beings on this planet onto the path of liberation. It is indeed true that in recent years, while lecturing in Europe and North America, I noticed the enthusiasm of many Westerners to learn about Tibetan Buddhism in general and about life and study at Larung Gar specifically. Hence the variety of topics in this book — including the lives and studies of Sangha members, the four great Dharma gatherings at Larung Gar, genuine and pretended tulkus from Tibet, and Tibetan culture and customs — provide readers with an immediate and direct experience of Tibetan Buddhism. In addition, Kyabjé’s heartfelt advice on how to improve interpersonal relationships is a spiritual treasure to make you and me live with more ease and joy. Based on these thoughts and considerations, this English edition has come into being.

为使法王的语言跃然纸上，让你有亲聆师语之感，除了一些小标题稍有增减外，我尽量未加修饰地保留了法王朴实平和的表达。
I have done my best to be faithful to Kyabjé’s simple and even manner of expression so that his words remain vivid and the feeling is created of listening to him directly. Only minor alterations of the subtitles in each chapter were made for clarity.
依止上师最主要的，其实就是倾听上师教言，依教奉行。因此，这虽然只是一本小小纪念册，但对我们每个人来说十分珍贵，或许其中的三言两语，就能对你人生和解脱起到不可估量的作用。法王每一句话看似平平淡淡，可若细细品味，蕴含的道理极其深刻。
The first and foremost requirement of knowing a guru is to listen to his instructions. So this memorial book is extremely precious for every one of us. Just a word or two in it may play an inestimable role in your life and promote your liberation. If you carefully savor the seemingly plain words, you will find that the principles embedded in them are wondrously profound.
本来，纪念册的藏文名是《零散教言》，为了提醒更多人将这些难闻难遇的教言永记于心，我将此译本取名为《不忘》。
The Tibetan title was Sporadical Instructions. In order to remind readers to engrave these precious instructions, so rare and hard to encounter, in their hearts, I gave the title Always Remembering to this new English edition for Wisdom Publications, which is based on the Chinese translation.
愿有缘者由此不再迷茫，踏上解脱之路！
Through all the forms of our loving guru’s teachings, may those fortunate ones be free from confusion and set foot on the path of liberation!
